Hi! My name is Sean Tambagahan. I felt like it’d be weird to write in 3rd person, like “Sean is such and such”, so I’ll just write my bio as myself. I’m a bunch of things: a husband, a father, a minister of the gospel, a creative entrepreneur, a lover of coffee, a purveyor of random thoughts, founder of Butler Branding and Combating Unbelief, a half Caucasian half Filipino son of an immigrant… but most importantly to me, I’m a child of God and follower of Jesus Christ.

In November of 2007 God radically saved me through the gospel from a life of sin. The trajectory of my life was forever changed that day. Since then I’ve been attempting to navigate all the other areas and aspects of my life in light of this one great cause – to make much of Christ. I’ve made a bunch of mistakes, and I’ve also had a bunch of victories. God has worked mightily through my life at many times, but I also know what it’s like to struggle and feel like God doesn’t care. I’ve had extremely high highs, and pretty low lows. I count it all a joy, however, because I’m confident that my life is in the hands of a loving, sovereign Father.

“I know both how to have a little, and I know how to have a lot. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being content—whether well fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need. I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:12-13

This blog is my attempt of an open and transparent look into some of the things I believe God has taught me and taken me through, interpreted through my perspective. Hopefully the content you find here will either bless you, teach you, encourage you or challenge you… and maybe every once in a while entertain you. I’d love to hear your feedback, so feel free to comment any time.

To His Glory,

Sean Tambagahan

PS: I started a Blogspot Blog back in 2010, and transitioned all those posts to this WordPress Blog you see here in May of 2017. So there’s a lot of really old stuff here; consequently the content and writing style will likely be a bit different in some of the newer stuff.

PPS: For my theology nerds out there who really care about someone’s doctrinal stance… I’m a 2.5 point Cal-minion, former-dispensational, complimentarian, continuationist, and a lukewarm premillennial. So, hopefully that clarifies that..
