VERSE:
I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.

THOUGHT:
Why do so many prayers go unanswered? One reason might be because they are coming from those who don’t seek the Lord. A lot of people want an answer to prayer, but don’t want the answerer to prayer. David understood that before the answer would come, the seeking had to be done.

APPLICATION:
Pray to God, for He loves to answer the prayers of His people; but first examine your heart and ask “am I daily seeking the Lord?”

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for who you are. You are worthy of all of my praise and worship. I seek you with all my heart, and I thank you for answering my prayers and delivering me from all my fears. In Jesus’ Name I pray, AMEN!
